Livvy Prior has joined the cast of Afar as Cordelia Tyde, a notorious and merciless pirate with a complicated past…

On her casting, Livvy says, “I get the feeling that long-lost footage of this series will be found in thousands of years and will be rebroadcast; however, it will all be clips of Dan [Sherratt] angrily quoting 90s pop songs to get us to follow his instructions.”

“It’s a joy to be working with Livvy again,” says Executive Producer Billy Treacy. “Cordelia’s such a cool character and I fully trust Livvy to do her justice. Plus, she’s always dropping new Livvy Lore and Livvyisms on set, so nobody’s ever going to be bored; we’re certainly going to be kept on our toes.”
